To play with USSSA is very simple. You can either register your team on-line by going to the National website www.usssa.com baseball section  The Annual Team Registration Fee is valid from August 1 - July 31.

Review the "Team Classification Guidelines" and register accordingly. (Found on USSSABaseball.org,click on About USSSA and it gives you the guidelines.) Most teams in California start out at AA or AAA If your pretty competitive. We will monitor your team as you participate. Your team may be reclassified at any time by the State Directors. After that, you just gather kids within the age group you want to participate. Your team can be made of up any group of kids. All stars, friends, etc. Your oldest players age determines what age group you play. (May 1st cut-off) EX: To play 12U your oldest player cannot turn 13 before May 1. Roster maximum limit is twenty (20) and there is not a minimum limit, however, you must just have enough to play according to the rules and may want to leave space available for adds. This does not include coaches or managers.

You Must complete your roster ONLINE @ USSSA.Com Print and bring it to check in at your first game. When your team qualifies, the State Office will freeze your roster. At the time your roster is frozen you will have Add/Drop guidelines. You can find all rules/by-laws guidelines (pdf document) from the National website.

All teams must have proof of insurance to participate. This can be purchased  @  USSSAInsurance.com  Birth certificates must be available at all times during league or tournament play. They will be checked at check-in prior to your first game. They can be copies.

We qualify teams thru League Play and Tournaments. We issue State Championship Berths in Sanctioned Leagues and Sanctioned Tournaments. We issue World Series/National Tournament Berths .
